How does a GPS system work?

Answer:
GPS systems work by measuring the distance between a GPS receiver and multiple GPS satellites. The GPS receiver receives signals from at least four satellites and uses the time it takes for the signals to reach the receiver to calculate the distance. By comparing the distance measurements from multiple satellites, the receiver can triangulate its position and provide accurate coordinates, velocity, and time information.
